Sitting here on a Sunday, finally feeling some rain bringing some relief to the fire dangers and basic dry ground around the house. At the same time, we hear of vaccines being delivered to many surrounding counties in the Bay Area, and maybe a light at the end of the tunnel for us all to get back to whatever normal, normal is going to be.
I can report that we at the Club have been working diligently over the past few weeks developing an opening plan to be submitted to the Alameda County Health Department for reopening of the Club, with restrictions, and we will comply. The plan has limited seating as we will not be able to have the number of members sitting downstairs as we have had in the past – for a minimum, we believe of six months. Decisions on how a member will be able to make a reservation and who will be able to attend, only members and/or member with a guest are in discussions as we speak. My main purpose of saying this is I hope all of you recognize the hard work that is taking place at the Club. Il mio scopo principale di dirlo è spero che tutti voi riconoscite il duro lavoro che si sta facendo nel club. It is different, but in the end, it will benefit all members in the next few months. I do want thank all the members for paying their dues, quite a few of the payments have been made online! Great job!!
